A MAJOR breakthrough has been achieved by a licensed recruitment agency in the Philippines in recruiting in demand Filipino registered nurses to work in New Zealand.

This was announced by Pieter Erasmus, director of Charis Consulting New Zealand, in an overseas telephone conversation with Federico Acdal, president of Greenfields International Manpower Services, Inc.

According to Acdal, whose offices are located at Rm. 505 LBH Bldg. 1431 A. Mabini St., Ermita, Manila, with license number POEA-087-LB-032307, the New Zealand recruitment agency employer will pay for the enrollment fees of the bridging course, which is a three month study in order to obtain a license to practice nursing in New Zealand, no fees are collected for applying.

Applicants are warned against illegal recruiters.

The employer which operates a chain of nursing homes in New Zealand will hire a total of 120 nurses during the year. Selections will be done on a first come first served basis.

Nurses must have passed the IELTS test with a score of 7.0 in all subjects, and also those who have obtained a license in United Kingdom or Ireland can qualify for reciprocity registration.

Applicants may apply at its offices, or email greenfields_intl@yahoo.com.
