SIX young men, armed with handguns and bladed weapons, robbed an Internet café yesterday dawn carting away close to P50,000 in cash, cellular phones and other valuables.

Cebu City Police Office Director Patrocinio Comendador believes the armed men are members of street hoodlums who belong to a gang in the city.
Theft and Robbery Section (TRS) investigation results showed that the men entered EveryOnline 88.Net Internet Café on Echavez St. in Barangay Lorega-San Miguel at around 2 a.m. yesterday.

Traffic enforcers Ronald M. Rivera and Albert S. Ollaban were on board a traffic patrol car when they spotted Joyce G. Pacańa, 23, shouting for help as she had just been victimized by robbery suspects Jaigi Mambiar Comendador, 23, of Barangay Tisa and Rudy Huerte Flores, 23, of Barangay T. Padilla.
