USC tankers rule 'Langoy'

THE University of San Carlos (USC) high school and the Borromeo Brother’s Elementary School lunged ahead to finish line at the Second Langoy-Langoy sa Sugbo in Dumanjug town yesterday afternoon.

The USC, which ruled in the 2nd Inter-School Swim meet held at the USC main campus swimming pool last January, showed their dominance in the competition, leaving a large margin against two other top finishers after posting 325 points in the first day of the swim meet.

The University of San Jose-Recoletos took the second spot with 49 points, while the Divino Amore Academy of Talisay City has 34 points to complete the three spots in the high school level.

The event, which is organized by the Visayas Swimming Association (Vissa), was witnessed by no other than Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia and Dumanjug Mayor Cesar Baricuatro, who opened the program yesterday at the President Diosdado Macapagal Stadium swimming pool.

On the other hand, the BBES also topped in the elementary level besting Vissa 2nd Inter-School Swimming champion Ma. Montessori International School. BBES was up ahead by just nine points (165 points) against the 156 points of the MMIS. (NSM)
