Friday, March 07, 2008 Angel's Unlimited Boutique reopens
ONLY after a month after a fire gutted its former manufacturing base, Angel’s Unlimited Boutique rises from the ashes with its new home along Binamira Bldg., #4 Gorordo Avenue, Cebu City.
Dawn of Jan. 13, AJP Unlimited Fashion (Angel’s Unlimited former name) on Climaco St. in Barangay Pahina, was reduced to ashes by a 52-minute fire.
The fire was reported to be the first major fire incident in the city by the start of 2008.
“Now, looking back, I couldn’t imagine the stress of what had happened. Everything went away with the flames,” said Arlyn Ponce, proprietress.
“But we just need to bring everything back for the sake of our clients and for the people who worked with us. Luckily, we immediately found this place.”
Uniform supplier
Angel’s Unlimited supplies the uniforms of many large private and government institutions.
Among its clientele are: the provincial government of Cebu, Home Development Mutual Fund (Pag-IBIG), Visayas Electric Corporation (VECO), Metro Cebu Water District (MCWD), National Power Corporation (NPC) and Innodata.
It also provides uniforms to many local government units in Visayas and Mindanao. It also reinvented Cebu City Traffic Operations and Management (CITOM) by adding light-reflecting materials that proved helpful especially during night-time.
The company started in 1998 with Angel’s Sportwear, supplying customized t-shirts and polo shirt uniforms.
Currently, Angel’s Sporstwear operates as a separate entity specializing on sports uniforms, production uniforms, polo, polo shirts, jackets, vests, shirt jacks, caps, jogging pants, patches and other customized sports items.
The sportswear line was awarded as the No. 1 Sportswear in Metro Cebu by the National Shoppers’ Choice Awards and the Most Outstanding Sportswear Manufacturer in Metro Cebu by the Philippine Marketing Excellence Awards. (JSC)
