Monday, March 10, 2008 YouTube Alert By Luis A. Quibranza III
AFTER two to three years of international exposure, YouTube.com has managed to make its way into popular culture. Even our local detainees in the Cebu Provincial Rehabilitation and Detention Center have hit superstardom when their famous ‘thriller dance’ was made available to large audiences through the world wide web.
Here are CyberCafe’s efforts to share with our readers, only the best (and soon to be popular) video uploads in YouTube every week.
Joseph is a candidate for Nouvelle Star 2007 (a French take on “American Idol”) and he decides to give the judges a little taste of his very own mean beat-boxing. He dishes out Michael Jackson classics to Usher hits (he even throws in a little Britney). For those who think you’ve seen this before, this link contains his complete performances. This even includes a jazz number. Don’t mind the french narration.
Why should you take the time to watch this?
This guy’s got two mouths. One plays the beat while the other takes care of the mean bass lines. If it’s your first time to watch this guy; he will blow your mind! Trust me, at some point you’d find yourself watching this guy beat-box with your mouth wide-open. (The address above will take you directly to the YouTube page. We just shortened the YouTube address using Urltea's service.)
