German truck brand expands in Vismin, opens Cebu office

MAN Nutzfahrzeuge, a German brand of trucks and buses, reputed for its breakthroughs in vehicle technology defined by cutting edge technology, style and durability is poised to expand its market in the Visayas and Mindanao with Cebu as its base area.

Fernado Lu, managing director of MAN Automotive Concessionaires Corp. (MACC), said that Cebu opens a big potential for the trucking industry attributing the phenomenon to the still escalating real estate and other pheriperal industries.

MACC already sold two vehicle units after the recent launching of its sales office in Cebu.

MAN brand is securely fastened among the top players in vehicle manufacturing especially in Europe. It won the Truck of the Year award in 2006 and again in 2008, the Bus of the Year Award in 2006.

Rudolf Diesel developed the diesel engine in MAN’s work station and is considered as one of the company’s greatest innovations.

MAN’s products includes the TGA (26-up tonner vehicles), TGM (19-26 tonner vehicle) and TGL (8-18 tonner vehicle) among others.

MAN vehicle feature superior technology and sophistication: its speed can be programmed to certain limit; it has an advanced brake system; it is environmentally friendly; it requires minimal maitanance that attributed to its fuel consumption efficiency; it comes with a two years warranty (the longest in the industry) and it’s easy to drive.
