Festin-Baybay: Happy Easter!
By Tita Dulce Festin-Baybay
That's right!

THAT’S right! Kidsters! After the week of prayers during the Holy Week, you must be excited because it’s vacation time once again! Do you have vacation plans already? If you do not have any yet, let me give you some suggestions on how to make your summer vacation very useful.

You may not like my first suggestion but it must be done. After your Easter holidays, how about fixing your things?

Open your closet, clean it up, and refold your clothes in an orderly manner so that you can easily find the things you need to wear right away. I find this very helpful, having a clean room and most of all, an orderly closet.

Next you can look around your neighborhood for sports activities. There are many summer sportsfests soon and you must try to join a sport that will suit your age and your interests. Are you into basketball? Tennis? Self-defense? Volleyball? Swimming? Or you can join the national camping of the Girls Scouts of the Philippines, which will take place first week of April. This, though, is limited only to members of the Girls Scouts.

Summertime is indeed the time to improve your skills. After studying hard the whole year, find something to relax you this summer aside from sports.

You can learn how to memorize the keys of the keyboard of a computer since this is very important when you start using computers. First things first. Learn the keys by memory and everything will be easy for you in the long run. I keep on repeating this because it is very useful.

Now don’t forget to do the thing I really like most. This is to read, read, read, novels or whatever storybooks you want to buy. How about it Kidsters? Write me the title of books that you are reading this summer.

Email me at dulcefestinbaybay@yahoo.com. We can exchange ideas. Have fun, Kidsters!
