Filipino-made oil now the hottest all-around remedy

IF necessity is the mother of invention, then innovation must be its closest relative.

This was what Dr. Angie Masilang had in mind when she first concocted the so-called “miracle oil” in her laboratory.

As a bio-chemist she was unsatisfied with the performance of pain relievers like over-the-counter ibuprofen, camphor-liniment oils and muscle creams out in the market. She knew that each dose came with its potential harmful side effects to frequent users. Among many cases, in New York an incident where a 17-year old track star died due to accidental overdose of methyl salicylate, an ingredient found in leading liniment creams that produces an icy and hot sensation upon application. This prompted experts to call for clearer warnings on the use of muscle creams and camphorated oils.

In answer to the need for an alternative and safe pain reliever, Nutriwell International Company proudly an all-Filipino producer/distributor of health and wellness products has come up with Oliea Oil.

Natural and safe

This is a topical oil with natural ingredients that are safe and act as a fast anti-inflammatory agent.

Oliea also comes in a soft gel for patients who have internal inflammatory problems. Both the topical oil and the soft gel contain Cetylated Fatty Acids a natural, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory alternative, Omega 3 found in fish, tuna, sardines and salmon and Omega 9 found in olive oil and avocado and Moringa oil, a potent agent with 46 anti-oxidants and 36 anti-inflammatory compounds. It has no camphor content and instead makes use of natural essences.

Therapeutic

Oliea anti-inflammatory action is well enhanced with aroma therapeutic principles. This is done by using natural essential oils of tangerine, lavender and chamomile.

Tangerine (Orange) helps drain the lymphatic system in active and sporty individuals especially among men. Polymethoxylated flavones in tangerine also helps lower bad cholesterol, consistent with cardiovascular care and helps control growth of some tumors. Lavender (violet) helps relieve the pain and swelling among the adult male and female with rheumatism, muscle cramps, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, stiff neck and sciatica (lower back and leg pain due to irritation of nerve roots).

Chamomile (blue) helps ease the discomfort of teething, toothaches and other colic pain among infants and children. It expedites healing in acne, bruises, eczema and burns. This also works well in reducing itchiness in psoriasis and relief of pain in dysmenorrheal and abdominal pain in adults.

Nutriwell products are available only through authorized distributors.
