CEBUANO billiards enthusiasts will get to see world class action when the organizer of Magnificent 7 Invitational 9-Ball Qualifier brings in the country’s top pool masters in their next tournament which will be held for the next two weeks.
After the successful staging of the tournament last week at Bravio Sport & Resto Lounge in Mandaue City, Hilton Professional Cues owner Michael Hilton said the other night that he is planning to bring in here the “Magician” Efren “Bata” Reyes and former world no.1 Francisco Bustamante, for the Cebuano billiards fans.
But it all depends on the availability of Reyes and Bustamante, said Hilton. He was responsible for bringing to Cebu the reigning national champion Lee Van Corteza, former Asian Games gold medalist Gandy Valle, who recently took the Magnificent 7 Invitational 9-Ball title and the P300,000 in the winner-take-all tournament, and four other up- and-coming cue artists in the country, Ricky Zerna, Ronie Aying, William Chua and Marvin Gentapa.
“Bravio Sport & Resto Lounge VP for Marketing Richard Sharpe said they are interested with the idea of Hilton and said that it will be good for Cebuanos to see high quality game. (NSM)
