Speak out: Respect for the state

IN my Religion classes in a Catholic school run by religious sisters, I was taught to respect or obey state authorities because no state authority exists without God's permission.

I just don't know if some of our bishops, priests and religious sisters nowadays still embrace such Catholic teaching.
