Champ to grace Pacman Airsoft

FILIPINO boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will grace the First Pacman Airsoft Close Quarter Battle Competition on April 26 and 27 at the Mactan Central School in Lapu-Lapu City.

Event organizer Doris Mongaya yesterday told Sun.Star Cebu that Pacquiao may come anytime during the games.

Ten teams are joining the two-day competition, said Mongaya.

She said they have to limit the teams to only 10 since they wanted to have full control of the competition, which allows 15 members per team with five reserves.

The teams competing are Black Aces, Pagcor Scorpion Airsoft Team, Mandaue Airsoft Group, Team 557, Red Arm Stallion, Deep Recon, Plantation Bay Airsoft Team, JAG, Trident Knigt and the EMC Team.

Their simulated mission is to retrieve a bomb from a certain building, bring it to the safe zone and defuse it to gain 200 points. But each team will have to face the opposing force.

Each squad will be given 10 minutes cutoff to finish their mission, the team with the lowest time will be considered the winner in case there will be a tie.
Participants and officials will inspect the site on Friday, Mongaya said.

The Kadaugan sa Mactan: First Pacman Close Quarter Battle Airsoft Competition is organized by the Philippine Airsoft Club of Mactan (P.A.C.M.A.N) in coordination with

Lapu-Lapu City Tourism, and Historical Commission as part of the annual Kadaugan sa Mactan. (NSM)
