THE Speechcom International Inc. (1976-2008) had its annual summer sessions from April 15-29 at the Sacred Heart Center.
It showcased the speaking, spelling, vocabulary and self-confidence skills of close to 200 participants from the pre-school to high school representing various schools all over the Philippines.
The initial transformation of the students from shy to more confident communicators is likened to a miracle — awesome and mesmerizing. The parents realized the value of effective communication, which should be nurtured at home, in the school and later, in the individual’s profession.
In May, a follow-up session on social graces and public speaking will be scheduled on weekdays, morning sessions.
