Jumapao makes 2nd win in Tenpin

FOR the second time, Jomar Jumapao wins another Bowler of the Month contest after he dominated over all the other keglers in the Bowling Tenpin Association’s April Bowler of the Month at the Gaisano Bowlingplex over the weekend.

He started the year right by winning the January tournament, and he did it again by winning the tournament for the month of April, toppling down a total of 1,680 pinfalls while his nearest opponent, Clarence Tiu, finished only with 1,593 total pinfalls.

Jumapao showed an impressive performance scoring two games with 248 scores in his third and seventh game while Tiu only had a game high of 227 pinfalls.

In third place was Wilbert Yu, with a total of 1,573 pinfalls. Albert Lim was in fourth, scoring a total of 1,564 total pinfalls, and Xyrra Cabusas was in fifth with a total of 1,532 pinfalls..

Michelle Lim and Clark Tiu, the Bowlers of the Month for February and March, only finished sixth and seventh, respectively.

Lim finished with 1,488 pinfalls while Tiu had 1,472 pinfalls.

Meanwhile, Jumapao just recently returned from Manila after finishing first runner up in the Boys Masters of the 16th National Youth Open Championship in Green Valley Bowling Center in Pasig City last April 3 to 13.

Jumapao will be competing in the upcoming World Youth Bowling Championship in Florida, U.S.A. in July. (EKA)
