Conde tops MS Motosuit 6th leg

TED Conde shone brightest among the local riders as he won his first Expert Division leg title of the 2008 Motosuit Motocross Series-sixth leg dubbed as the 4th Mayor Mariano Martinez Motocross Cup held in Argawanon in San Remegio, Cebu last Sunday.

However, the most cheers still belonged to the country’ top motocross rider, Glenn “D King” Aguilar, who wowed the spectators with his daredevil stunts to rule the Pro Open Division.

Conde sneaked into the lead to win his first leg title but the leadership of the division is still with veteran rider Pepo Rubi, who placed third in last Sunday’s event.

Last year’s Rider of the Year awardee, Jovannie Abellar, came in second and inched closer on Rubi in the overall points tally.

Conde also won the Intermediate Division race over Clark Wagas.

Aguilar, on the other hand, won the third Pro Open leg title in as many races over Jon Jon Adlawan and Irwin Uypitching.

Meanwhile, Siegfred Ornopia is now pulling away with his second Executive A division leg title. Gener Sicad came in second and Jun Enriquez finished third.

In the most exciting Novice Open Production category, Donkey Sanchez regained his bearing to win the leg over his closest competitor Bonie Bustillo as Alex Abalo placed third.

Ayen Ledesma, meanwhile, topped the Novice Open Enduro over Sanchez and Bustillo respectively.

In the Beginners Production, Christopher Voss reached the finish line first over Ledesma and Sanchez. (RCM)
