Sunday, May 18, 2008 GMA to visit Argao town for school groundbreaking
PRESIDENT Arroyo will be in Argao town in southern Cebu tomorrow to lead the groundbreaking ceremony of the P20-million Philippine National Science High School-Central Visayas Campus.
Argao Mayor Edsel Galeos told Sun.Star Cebu that Arroyo will arrive at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport at 12 noon tomorrow.
From the airport, she will take a chopper to Argao to inaugurate the new school building in Barangay Palaypay.
After the groundbreaking rites, Arroyo will have a short audience with the students.
The President will also visit the statue of Blessed Virgin Mary in Barangay Limbogon situated in the boundaries of Argao and Sibonga towns.
Galeos and other Argao officials will meet Arroyo as soon as she arrives in town.
After that, Arroyo will fly to Cebu City for a private affair. The following day, she is expected to be in Bohol.
Recently, the President also visited Bogo City and led the inauguration of a roll-on, roll-off port.
Arroyo also went to the Taiheiyo Cement Factory in San Fernando, southern Cebu and met the firm’s officials and employees. (GMD)
