Festin-Baybay: Checklists
By Tita Dulce Festin-Baybay
That's Right!

HELLO again, Kidsters! As we prepare for the opening of school, I am giving you tips on how to make school life and studying enjoyable and more fruitful. So how are you preparing for the opening of school? Do you have your list of things to buy?

That is the first step. Have a checklist. This will make your life easier and you will not have to rush at the last minute. This will also prevent you from nagging your parents who are busy earning a living and preparing for your school year. Did you think only children prepare for the coming school opening? Our parents also do a lot of preparations.

You know what makes it easier for you also? Always prepare things the night before. Do not rush to fix your things just before you leave for school. Have your schoolbag and uniform all laid out and prepared the night before.

By the way, remember what I have been telling you all this time. Help the environment. Learn to recycle your things. Do not waste paper. Use the front and the back. Trees are being cut just to provide all of us with paper and pencil.

Avoid using plastic wrappings. If you notice the weather nowadays, the very hot and the very cold, this is all due to the environment already complaining on how we are abusing it.

Be eco-friendly. Reuse and recycle. You are the future and we, your elders, want you to have a bright and green future. So include how to help save the environment when you do your school checklist. Make this a habit.
