Uypitching lunges ahead in MS Motocross series

ERWIN Uypitching of Team Rusi broke loose to win his first leg title after ruling the Expert Division competition of the 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series 8th leg held in Dipolog City last Sunday.

Uypitching who was running fourth in point standings after seven legs—pocketed his first leg title beating division leader Pepo Rubi who placed second and Ted Conde who finished third.

Dominance

Aside from winning the Expert Class, Uypitching also won the Intermediate Division beating Ted Conde and Kimboy Pineda, respectively.

Seigfred Ornopia, on the other hand, asserted his dominance in the Executive A Division after beating Nonoy Patriarca and Jun Enriquez. This is Ornopia’s fifth straight leg title victory.

Aside from the Executive A Class, Ornopia also won the Executive B division defeating Jordan Bantingan and Allan Ranillo who finished second and third, respectively.
The Executive C class, however, was won by Bantingan with Ranillo and Gener Sicad placing second and third.

In the Enduro Open, Christopher Voss defeated Michael Desbaro and Jimwell Nacua while the Local Enduro class was won by Desbaro with Boni Bustillo and Roy Lamang placing second and third, respectively.

Novice

The Novice Production Class, on the other hand, was ruled by Bobong Catipay, with Clark Wagas and Jason Bayawa completing the next two finishers.

In the Beginners Production, Jevin Lagrada won the leg over Christopher Voss with Adam Uypitching placing third.

The Mini class was again won by Keith Galaura with Catipay and Jullano winning the next two spots.
