Wednesday, June 04, 2008 Adlawan collars 2 M’cross titles
JON-Jon Adlawan shone the brightest in the 9th leg of the 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series—the first Vice Mayor’s Motocross Cup held–in Aloguinsan last Sunday.
Adlawan won two titles in the race after topping the expert class and the intermediate division. Claiming the second and third places in the expert division were Juvannie Abellar and Paul Inoc, while the runners up in the intermediate class were Inoc and Clark Wagas.
However, the day’s excitement was centered on the explosive performance of the country’s top moto–cross rider Glenn Aguilar, who once more collared the premier Pro Open division title.
Aguilar won his fifth Pro Open title of the series, topping Inoc and Abellar, who took the next two spots respectively.
Meanwhile, taking the title in the Peewee division was Brylle Ornopia, with BJ Pepito and PJ Galia rounding up the top three finishers.
The other podium finishers in the race were Ryan Alquisola, Ayen Ledesma and Donkey Sanchez in the Beginners Open Production division; Rex Barbaso, Clark Wagas and John Flores in the Novice Open Production class; Donkey Sanchez, Boni Bustillo and Ryan Querol in the Local Enduro division; Ryan Alquisola, Keith Galaura and Reynan Querol in the Mini Class.(RCM)
