CIS receives accreditation

CEBU International School (CIS) proudly announces the awarding of its accreditation status by one of the most credible international accrediting bodies in education, the Council of International Schools.

This accreditation is preceded by the earlier accredited status awarded by the country’s very own Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU).

Presently within the Philippines, only Cebu International School carries accredited status with PAASCU, Council of International Schools and WASC and only Cebu International School carry joint Council of International Schools and WASC accreditation with the exception of one international school in Manila.

This is another land mark in CIS’ development and growth, further demonstrating the quality of the school in cementing their international character.

As a result of these accreditations, students and parents are assured the school is considered to be of good quality by international and local standards. Also, their transcripts of record carry the seal of approval from the accrediting organizations. This will support CIS graduates and transferees’ ability to enter other schools and colleges around the world.

Cebu International School is a private secular institution offering a nursery to grade 12 college preparatory international education.

CIS is a non-stock, non-profit, self sustaining corporation governed by a Board of Trustees elected from the parent body.

Awarded Republic Act 9190, Cebu International School operates to sustain its international nature and employs a multinational administration and faculty.
