Speak out: Rice prices are dropping
By Mario Jimenez

I would like to appeal to newspaper editors to also report that there is a rice glut in other countries.

Because of reports that there is a scarcity of rice, many people are hoarding this commodity, thus driving up the price of local rice.

For the sake of the suffering Filipinos, please also publish recent reports that the price of rice is dropping around the world!

It is media’s responsibility to stop the panic by publishing the real rice situation.
