Not your everyday type of romantic concert, therefore, something to look forward to, is the 16th Romantic Piano Concerto Journey Tour (RPCJT) of piano duo, Reynaldo Reyes and Ingrid Sala Santamaria. The journey has covered parts of Luzon and Mindanao, since it started June 26.
It will be the turn of Cebu starting Aug. 3 when they "concertize" at the Sto. Niño Clubhouse in Banilad, followed by another on the same day at the Atrium of SM City Northwing,
Aug. 4 and 5 will find them at the Sisters of Mary School for Boys and Girls in Minglanilla and Talisay City, respectively. On Aug. 6, they play for budding Cebuano talents at the Mandaue school for the Arts in Mandaue City.
The very unique and lively open forum following each concert actually primes the audience to embark on a musical career, not only to share the importance of classical music, but to create an involvement in everyone’s daily lives, as active listeners., not only as music practitioners,

How would you like to savor Spain On Our Palete?
The Embassy of Spain, represented by Snr. Enriquez Ruiz, tourism counsellor, concocted a fabulous Iberian menu, the likes of paella, lengua estofada, pescado con salsa verde, etc, all washed down with premium Spanish wines!
Assisting him was Filipina Vien Cortes, market analyst for the Spanish embassy, with base in Singapore. From the Cebu side, honorary Spanish consul Jaime Picornell, rolled out the Spanish colors!
A lively video showcasing Spain’s picturesque countryside, vibrant capitals, and must-see spots north and south of the country, made the guests wish they were on the first jet for Espana!

“Wake Up To A New Brew” was the tagline of The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Salon located in the business core of the metropolis, Makati city, where we were for the weekend.
Publicist extraordinaire Cebuano Allan Tan, made sure we were there at the appointed time, to meet renowned tea connoisseur David De Candia.
And who is this wondrous man?
Being a part of the Tea Association of America and Specialty Tea institute, as well as a regular speaker at the World Tea Expo, De Candia lends his expertise to pinoy tea diehards by exploring the various diversity of tea.
He gave a tea Appreciation seminar at the Tea salon where he was able to assail the pinoy palate with an array of tea infusions crafted by the Master tea blender himself.
Guys, and gals, now you know where to go for the ultimate tea experience. Remember the secret is in the leaf.. with the discovery of the exceptional fusion of flavor and aroma, the Philippines is waking up to a New Brew!
They were all “Internas” at the Holy Ghost College (now College of the Holy Spirit). A lively bunch they were cavorting during recess time, and enjoying bananas in every form during snacktime! at the dorm.
After thirty or so years they came to Cebu – Ariadne (Adne) Lamprea – Quintos and Belen Tonsay – Dadivas to join Nelia G. Neri, and Chinggay V. Utzurrum (CVU). Ariadne now Mrs. Javy Quintos, one of the top executives of Plantation Bay Resort & Spa, is here for the next months or years?
