Friday, June 27, 2008 Colina rules CCC Ladies Presidents Cup
LUCILLE Colina had the day’s best score in the Ladies President Cup Golf Tournament to collar the overall championship title last week at the Cebu Country Club.
Colina won the title after registering 66 to overpower 17 other players in the competition.
She scored a 43 on the front nine and 44 at the back to put up a gross 87 in the daylong competition.
Meanwhile, Jeannette Chiu grabbed the title in the Class A division after finishing the a net 67.
She scored a 40 at the back nine and 44 at the front to finish with a gross 84.
Taking second place was Nene Dyguani, who finished with a 69.
Aki Oka on the other hand, finished at third place with 71.
Completing the top five were Annie Libi and Rosita Uy.
Meanwhile, Gloria Alazas won the Class B title after scoring 68.
Mila Chan, who had a 71 was at second place, while Lalay Lava salvaged the last spot at the podium with 75.
Flor Streegan, Jo Veloso and Conchita Vangelder finished at fourth to sixth places respectively. (MCB)
