CSC 7 sets prof, sub-prof exams

THE CIVIL Service Commission (CSC) will be conducting the second career service Professional and Sub-professional written examinations on July 27.

Interested applicants have only until today to submit their applications to the nearest CSC office.

The CSC Examination, Recruitment and Placement Office also clarified that the career service examinations, both professional and sub-professional levels, are open to applicants regardless of educational attainment.

“The educational requirement for career service examinations has been lifted since 2002,” the agency said.

Requirements

To qualify for the career service examination, applicants must be Filipino citizens, at least 18 years old, have not taken the same level of examination in less than three months, and have not failed the same level of examination for four times.

All applicants are advised to strictly comply with and personally file the requirements at the nearest CSC.

They need to bring a properly accomplished application form (CS Form 100, Revised 2008), which may be downloaded from the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph; four pieces of identical passport size pictures with full name tag; and an original and photocopy of at least one valid identification (ID) card. The examination fee is P35.

The ID pictures must have been taken within three months prior to filing of application, with the name tag showing the applicant’s first name, middle initial, last name and extension name if he or she has any.
