CEBU Parklane International Hotel, home of authentic Cebuano hospitality, will celebrate its 2nd anniversary tomorrow, July 12.
In less than a year after the unveiling of the Parklane brand and introduction of its all-Filipino management team of professionals, Cebu Parklane International Hotel has achieved a lot as guided by their mission to provide authentic Cebuano hospitality.
General manager Cenelyn Manguilimotan proudly announced “everything is falling into place” and that they have accomplished a lot of firsts: joined the Philippine Business Mission in four cities of Japan, joined the Philippine International Tourism Fair and won Best Corporate Booth and internally held their first sports fest and released an employee manual.
Performance
“The team has also consistently and sometimes exceeded the budget. We exceeded 25 percent over the budget in the last quarter of last year and consistently up to first quarter of 2008,” Manguilimotan added.
Their occupancy rate also continues to soar, hitting up to 98 percent and never below 65 percent.
The hotel’s 3-star certification and recognition from the Department of Tourism also strengthened the hotel’s credibility in the market.
“We’re happy to have already established a name in the industry and we plan to consistently keep it up.”
To boost hotel’s competitiveness, Manguilimotan also laid out goals for their third year. One of their major goals is the completion of 10 additional executive suites and executive lounge.
“We signify our commitment to provide our guests with the finest facilities and services possible, and we will continuously enhance The Parklane experience for our guests.”
The Parklane will host an anniversary hat party for valued clients and guests tomorrow with the theme, “Glowing at two and counting.”
