Speak out: Migratory birds, mad dogs
By Sylvia Ocampo
Badian, Cebu

HOWEVER you look at it, the Cebu International Convention Center (CICC) is making money for the Provincial Government compared to the South Road Properties (SRP) that is giving the city leadership a big headache in terms of interest payment on a daily basis.

Capitol consultant Rory Jon Sepulveda was right in saying that the SRP has become a parking lot for mad dogs in addition to Gov. Gwen Garcia’s view that it has become a favorite place for a lot of migratory birds.

My own view is that nobody, except that guy from Bigfoot, is interested in setting up his/her firm at SRP because he/she simply doesn’t want to get into trouble with Mayor Tomas Osmeña in the future.

So isn’t it more appropriate to call the SRP “Samok Ray Padulngan?”
