Tuesday, July 15, 2008 Adlawan claims two titles in MS Motocross Bohol leg
JON Jon Adlawan edged Irwin Uypitching to rule the Expert division of the 11th leg of the 2008 MS Motosuit Motocross Series–the third Sta. Cruz Triumfo Chapel Motocross Competition in Bohol.
Adlawan won his second leg title defeating Uypitching and last year’s Rider of the Year awardee Jovannie Abellar, who settled for third place.
It was a double celebration for Adlawan, who also topped the Intermediate division, where he defeated Winsor Famorca and Ambo Yaparcon.
Meanwhile, motocross king Glenn Aguilar continued to display his winning ways in the Pro Open class when he defeated Irwin Uypitching and Don-Don Yuson, who settled for second and third places, respectively.
Meanwhile, Michael Desbaro ruled the Local Enduro division, while Dongkey Sanchez and Nico Redulla took the next two spots.
Desbaro also topped the Novice Enduro Class with Dario Labor Jr. and Redulla finishing second and third.
The Beginners Production saw Dondon Ca–pilitan winning with RJ Con-Ui and Ryan Querol rounding up the top three.
Con-Ui on the other hand, bounced back from his bridesmaid finish and topped the Novice Production class. Clark Wagas and Olmogis Timoy were the runners up in this division.
Siegfred Ornopia, meanwhile, continued lording it over in the Executive A Division beating eventual runners up Jun Enriquez and Jun Tabas to the finish line.
However, Ornopia took a back seat in the Executive B class, where he only finished second to Tabas. Enriquez placed third in this race.
Edsil Gohetsa, Felipe Montejo and Tabong Tan were the top three finishers in the Executive C division, while Rey Querol, Atong Mangusong and Neil Ytac topped the 65cc class.
The Mini Class division was won by Mangusong followed by Paul Ban–digan and Martin Nuñez.
The Peewee class was dominated by Pewee Galia followed by Bryle Ornopia and PJ Galia.
The local Bohol riders category was won by Nico Redulla, followed by James Bungalos and Dario Labor, Jr.
The race was organized by Elmer Talan with EPT Design and Build and Imarflex Evvo Motorcycle Battery as the major corporate backers. (RCM)
