Marco Polo Plaza celebrates Swiss day with culinary treats

FROM July 23-Aug. 6, the Cafe Marco brings the Swiss traditions to the table and lets one experience anything from A - Z: from Alpine-dried beef  to Chocolates, Cheese fondue, raclette, roesti, sausages, to Zurich-style sliced veal in cream sauce.

These Swiss favorites will be served at the buffet alongside their regular international dishes for lunch and dinner.

Swiss National Day

In celebration of the 2nd Swiss National Day celebration on Saturday, Aug. 2, guests can take part in the games and activities, such as yodeling, Swiss quiz and wheel of fortune to win exciting prizes.

A bonfire will light the sky to the background tunes of Alphorn and Folklore music.

Plus, an award will be given to the Best-Dressed in Swiss costume. So come in one’s most beautiful traditional outfit for the evening to bag a special treat.

Also, there will be a photo opportunity with “Swissy,” the cow.

Together with this fun-filled night, a buffet of authentic Swiss dishes complete with the fondue, raclette and grilling station is also available.

This event will be graced by the presence of the Swiss Ambassador to the Philippines, H. E. Dr. Peter Sutter and Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission Mme. Irene Flueckiger.

All of these wonderful treats for P790+++/992 net per person. Children from seven to 12 years of age enjoy 50 percent discount.

Swissness Room Package

As an added treat, Marco Polo is offering a special weekend package valid from Aug. 1 to Aug. 4 for P2,500 net, without breakfast and P3,500 nett inclusive of breakfast, for two adults and two children, 12 years and below, per room night. Stay two nights and get the third night for P1,000.
