Wednesday, August 06, 2008 Quest Homes: comfortable, secure home away from home
TO meet the housing needs of an increasing student and professional population in the North Reclamation Area, Quest Homes Development Corp. has built Quest Homes, a five-story commercial building complex and first-class dormitory.
The building located beside the new Cebu Doctors’ University Hospital primarily features a dormitory that can accommodate 1,096 persons.
“We can assure parents that their children are safe here,” said building manager and residence hall administrator Yalyn Gachalian.
She also pointed out that the dormitory is not only ideal for students but also for professionals working nearby. They also accept transients and short staying guests.
Aside from separating areas for male and female dormers, stringent security measures are added like a biometric security for entrance to the dormitory, security cameras and 24-hour roving security.
Integrating the comforts of home, the dormitory has been designed to meet the housing needs of today’s students and professionals.
Two kinds of accommodation are available: 21 square meter standard aircon rooms which can accommodate four persons, has a private toilet and bath with hot and cold shower and 16 square meter communal rooms which can accommodate four persons with common toilet and bath.
The dormitory’s amenities include a lobby, air conditioned TV room, study area at every floor, open promenades, elevator, ample parking and soon a recreational area. Every floor also has a dedicated housekeeper.
Work is underway on their three function rooms that have capacity for 200 persons and ideal for educational tours, live-in seminars and trainings.
Commercial establishments in the building include iBrowse Internet Café, Boss School and Office Supplies, STAT convenience store, Laundry Care, Sugbo Silog/Ona Lounge, Siknoy Dimsum, Jewelry in the Palace Korean Resto, Milk Coffee Shop and Ropongi Japanese Resto.
