Speak out: Anti-tourism sort
By Sylvia Pedrita Ocampo
Badian, Cebu

JULES, Gov. Gwen Garcia’s nine-year-old grandson, must be so busy with his schooling to reply to Mr. Tomas Osmeña’s childish attack against his grandmother regarding her Suroy-Suroy Sugbo local tourism program. So I’m taking the cudgels for the little boy, even without his permission, because I also want to express my vehement objection to Osmeña’s “tira pasagad” tirade against the governor.

Osmeña is obviously an insecure person, the “masuya-suyaon” type. Being anti-tourism, he has not done anything at all to promote the city’s heritage sites, historical structures, native delicacies and other tourist attractions.

By the way, Osmeña should ask his own vice mayor how beneficial and wonderful Suroy-Suro Sugbo is. Mike Rama even posed with the governor in one of their trips to Badian with the Kawasan Falls as background.

And will somebody please advise Osmeña to stop quarreling with women?

Real guys (those without any gender problem), especially senior citizens, respect the opposite sex, right?
