PAREF Southcrest School has undertaken the Apple Educator’s Advantage to provide innovative solutions for raising student achievement.
Southcrest’s high school faculty have been provided by iCenter, the Apple Education partner for the Visayas and Mindanao, a differentiated instruction that promotes critical thinking and creativity, as well as offer a motivating way for students to learn.
Through the intensive training they have been receiving, Southcrest high school teachers can easily bring innovative technology to the classroom (into a multi-sensory learning environment) as an integrated part of the curriculum.
Apple Education addresses the digital divide between educators and students.
It uses technology that today’s generation is familiar with as powerful learning tools. It empowers educators, as well as the students, to have access to the latest collaboration technologies needed to create and share compelling digital media projects, which is an engaging way to express their knowledge in any subject area using the media of their generation.
Teachers spend less time on low-value, repetitive tasks and more time actually teaching. Thus, curriculum solutions have been designed to enhance student information access and productivity, and increase achievement in academic subjects—preparing students with 21st century skills.
