Man refuses sex offer, gets mauled

A 36-year-old man was mauled and robbed by a group of young men after he allegedly declined an “offer” from a woman for a “short time” before dawn yesterday.

Victim Augusto D. Junterial, who resides along Escario St., Barangay Camputhaw, Cebu City lost his wallet with P5,000 cash inside.
Friends

Junterial told Homicide Section investigators led by SPO1 Roger Nedamo that he together with his three friends were looking for a videoke house along Colon St., Barangay Kalubihan, past 3 a.m. when a woman approached him.

Sex offer

The woman allegedly offered him sex, which Junterial declined.

That reportedly irked the woman. The woman’s companions, who were described to be in their early 20s, reportedly mauled Junterial.

One of the suspects, armed with a bladed weapon, attempted to stab the victim. He managed to avoid the attack.

Hit with stone

Another suspect, however, hit Junterial’s head with a stone.

The suspects then left Junterial, who was taken to Cebu City Medical Center for a wound in his right pinky and bruises in the different parts of his body.

He said the suspects took his wallet with cash inside. (JST)
