American charged for rape of girl

AN eleven-year-old girl accused a sixty-four-year-old American national of abducting and raping her in his house in Talisay City last February.

Evelyn (real name withheld because she is a minor) also claimed there were two other young girls inside the American’s house.

Evelyn narrated that she and a friend were standing by the street one day last February when the American arrived and reportedly covered her mouth. Evelyn lost consciousness.

When she woke up, she found herself inside a house. She later learned that it belonged to the American. Evelyn said she felt pain in her private parts and noticed bleeding when she urinated.

She said she tried to leave the house but it was locked.

Since that incident, Evelyn said, the American told her to call him “uncle” and gave her food to eat. In the house, Evelyn met two more young girls, who were also minors.

At times, the American would allegedly take them swimming at a nearby resort or ask them to clean the house, paying them P70 each.

Evelyn said the American sexually abused her several times more, once inside the comfort room. She said “it was very painful.”

X-rated

She said the American would make her watch X-rated television shows and take pictures of her naked.

Evelyn said she tried to escape with the camera but she was caught.

Evelyn finally managed to escape and reported the matter to police. Her grandfather assisted her in filing criminal complaints against the American.

Associate Talisay Prosecutor Jenelyn Forrosuelo wrote a joint resolution for the two complaints, noting that the subpoena sent to the American was returned and not served.

Talisay City Prosecutor Marshall Rubia approved the filing of criminal charges against the American last Friday. The charges filed were for rape and forcible abduction with rape. (KAB)
