Developer begins work on condo project in Guadalupe, Cebu City

COMMONWEALTH Estate recently held the ceremonial pouring of the foundations of its much-awaited condominium development, the Woodcrest Residences, signaling the start of the construction of the main building.

Woodcrest project manager Reynaldo Sanchez said the building is expected to be completed next year.

“Many of our buyers have already expressed eagerness to move in, we expect to have the units ready for turnover by the last quarter of 2009,” he said.

The club house of the condominium project, which has already been finished, is temporarily housing the model units.

Commonwealth Estate worked to fast-track the delivery date due to the continuing rise in demand of condominium units.

The Woodcrest Residences is a 10-storey mid-end residential condominium development in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.

“We are very excited with Woodcrest. Cebu is becoming very cosmopolitan with the continuing influx of foreign residents.

Many of today’s Cebuanos already want to live in the convenience and luxury of a condominium,” said Stephen Liu,
president of Commonwealth Estate.

Woodcrest Residences are not allowed to be used for commercial purposes to ensure the security and safety of unit owners. (PR)
