Grand Beer Fest at Marco Polo

FOR the third year in a row, the Marco Polo Plaza proudly brings back to Nivel Hills the grand annual tradition of oktoberfest, as guests enjoy a festive night of world class entertainment, flowing beer and sumptuous authentic German cuisine.

From Oct. 10 to 11, the hotel of choice in Cebu will hold a German beerfest featuring the Bavarian Sound Express, an 11-piece band flown in from Munich by Lufthansa.

The Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a Bavarian village where one can delight in two nights of endless beer-drinking, a variety of traditional Oktoberfest food such as grilled sausages, hot German dishes, salads and desserts and fun games in various booths.

The Bavarian Sound Express, a big hit in Manila and Cebu for the past three years, will once again treat guests to an extensive repertoire of lively “oompah” music, a collection of polkas, country-western and contemporary songs.

Entrance fee is only P600 net inclusive of one round of beer. Ala Carte platters of German favorites starting at P400 net and beer at P50 per glass.

This year, in support of the Marco Polo Plaza’s Oktoberfest, the European Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines is organizing a fair of German products and services in its aim of strengthening linkages among companies, organizations and individuals with business interests in Europe and the Philippines.

Guests who will be joining the Oktoberfest merry-making get to enjoy a special Weekender Package at the Marco Polo Plaza starting at P7,900 net for a deluxe two-night stay with buffet breakfast for two, plus other freebies and discounts.
