FOLLOWING the successful July launch of its Global Communications and Management Academy (GCMA) in Manila, ePerformax is bringing the GCMA to Cebu to support its forthcoming expanded operations in the Visayan province.
The GCMA is ePerformax’s training venture that has enabled it to successfully train “near hires” and “far hires”–those recruits who have the character, service skills and work ethic that would provide superior quality for the company’s clients but need English training for careers in the contact center and BPO industry. The GCMA teaches essential global communications skills that are necessary in serving the requirements of the company’s Fortune 500 client base.
The GCMA has proved to be a double blessing in Manila and ePerformax now wants to bring that same blessing to Cebu as it opens new opportunities for those wanting a career in a call center and it gives ePerformax new recruits to fill the positions required by the growing demand and growth from its clients.
ePerformax opened its Cebu city operations at the JY Square Mall in Lahug in May 2007 with 300 seats.
The company has grown rapidly and expanded its operations to a newly-built, adjacent building and anticipates having up to 1,500 seats by the end of the year.
