Friday, October 03, 2008 Promise of new hair at New Man
THE hair, they say is man’s crowning glory. But when they start to fall and follicles get too tired to produce hair, then its time to don on an artificial replacement that looks natural, it’s like the mane one has when he was still 20.
Daisy Laudato, owner of New Man, a salon specializing on wigs and other hair services, said that there’s no age too old to look good with hair on one’s head.
In fact, if follicles deny to produce the keratin strands, her salon simulates abundant hair through wigs—synthetic or natural.
And when one says natural, it really comes from natural human hair. “Of course, natural human hair looks better,” said Laudato.
New Man has since brought the technology to Cebu 18 years ago. Since then, New Man has gained satisfied clientele.
“Other people prefer to wear wigs because it’s more convenient. Getting hair transplantation has relative pain and sometimes it causes the appearance of chicken skin,” Laudato said.
New Man utilizes German technology that allows the wig to be glued or attached in place.
“We aim to simulate our client’s natural hair. They can bring their picture with them and we can customize their wigs accordingly,” she said. New Man can even style or color the wigs according to client’s preference.
Moreover, New Man affords clientele with private areas to fix their hair. “We understand that the issue on hair is sensitive so everything has to be private,” said Laudato.
New Man, aside from making customize wigs also offers other salon services. “We’re more or less a full-line salon,” Laudato said.
New Man is located at Cherry’s Court along General Maxilom St. Cebu. City. (JSC)
