Classic cars and fashion show highlight The Northwing launch

FASHION and glamour kick into high gear with the grand launch of Cebu’s ultimate lifestyle destination.

The Northwing at SM City Cebu formally takes off today with Gear and Glam, an exhibit and fashion show event featuring the rare classic car collections of the Performance and Classic Car Enthusiasts of Cebu and elegant fashion designs inspired by the classic cars and presented by the Fashion Council of Cebu (FCC).

This pioneering event will showcase the finest collections of Metro Cebu’s classic car enthusiasts composed of some of the city’s top business personalities. This will run until Oct.12.

The FCC will also showcase their original creations with elegant style inspired by these classic cars. FCC is composed of Cebu’s top designers which include Albert Arriba, Jun Escario, Arcy Gayatin, Oj Hofer, Ditas Rodriguez, Philip Rodriguez,Vania Romoff, Cary Santiago, Felix Yu and Minnie Yuvienco. Their original creations will come alive with models from Model Association of Cebu.

Thegrand launch of The Northwing at SM City Cebu will also be highlighted by an exhibit of members of the Images Camera Club of Cebu. The photo contest and exhibit dubbed“A Day at The Northwing,” features photos that capture the people and scenes of a typical day at the Northwing.

The photo exhibit will run from Oct.10 to 20 at the 1st level hallway of The Northwing, near Duty Free Philippines. Major Sponsors of the event are Globe, Duty Free Philippines and Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino. Also supporting them are Basic Graphics, Sun.Star Cebu, Leona Cakes and Pastries, and Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant.
