Cebu Holdings Inc. unveils Amara’s village clubhouse

THIS Saturday, Oct. 25 Ayala Land affiliate Cebu Holdings Inc. (CHI), realizes its promise to Amara residents and lot owners with the blessing of the village clubhouse.

The grand clubhouse will be the heart of this premier seaside residential community. The clubhouse complex is gracefully spread over a 7,200 square meter area with a sweeping view of the sea. The structure’s simple lines, stark white façade and canopies, a showcase of Amara’s modern Asian tropical architectural design theme, stand out against the iridescent blues of the Camotes Sea. The complex was designed around a century-old Calumpang tree which is now assured of care and many years as a sentinel by the sea.

The structure is designed by Leandro V. Locsin and Partners. The architectural firm of the national artist for architecture, Leandro V. Locsin gave us landmarks such as the Cultural Center of the Philippines, the Philippine International Convention Center, Tower One and Philippine Stock Exchange in Makati.

The Amara clubhouse is composed of three separate pavilion-type structures which house the social hall, conference facility and the administration office.

From the open-air lobby, a shallow pool cascades into the 25-meter lap pool with a Jacuzzi in the lower level. This creates an illusion of continuity with the sea while providing privacy to guests at the pool. A pool for the kids to enjoy will also be on another level. Generous landscaping that complements many of the land’s natural features completes the refreshing resort feel of the area.

Aside from the village clubhouse at phase 1 of Amara, other facilities are also being constructed.

At phase 2, a separate sports and recreation club is being constructed. This complex will house a basketball court, a badminton court and the gym. Also in phase 2 is a Serenity Park which provides an ideal enclave for meditation and relaxation. Phase 3 will feature a picnic grove set amidst grown mahogany trees, while Amara North, the newest phase, will have six seamlessly connected parks and a private wharf that juts out to the Camotes Sea.

Amara, is a joint development project of Ayala Land affiliate, Cebu Holdings, Inc. with Coastal Highpoint Ventures Development Inc. This scenic community sits on a 46-hectare property located at Barangay Catarman Liloan, Cebu, approximately 18 kilometers from the city.
