Talk back: Not under Capitol
By Sam Costanilla
Consultant on Media Affairs, Capitol

AN open letter from a certain Jose Tapales of Bogo City that saw print in Sun.Star’s Speak Out section over the weekend asked Gov. Gwen Garcia to improve the system at the (Provincial) Register of Deeds.

For his information, this agency is NOT under the Provincial Government just because it is located within the Capitol compound.

It is a national government agency, therefore, Tapales should not address his concern to the woman governor.

He should know that this particular agency, which used to be the Land Registration Authority, is directly under the Department of Justice, not the Capitol.
