Extreme sports demo at Paseo

EXTREME sports enthusiasts and athletes will gather at the Paseo Food and Entertainment Center on Nov. 8 to observe and compete in the Tuason Surf’s Rolling Against Hunger.

The event will feature contests and demonstrations in skateboarding, longboarding, BMX and wall climbing.

The registration for all the events will start at 3 p.m. and the competitions will follow an hour later.

Charity

This event is not only geared towards the fun side of extreme sports but it also doubles as a charity event.

Before the events start, the event organizers and participants will start their day early as they head to downtown Cebu to give out food and clothing to the homeless people in the area at 4 a.m.

Live bands

Another highlight of the event will be the performances of live bands that will put an end to a long day slated at eight in the evening.

This charity event is sponsored by Bent Clothing, Tewest, Sim–frosa’s Grill and Bar, Sunpride Philippines, Nature’s Spring
Drinking Water, Driftwood Local Enterprises and Adrenaline Boarding Company.

The event is also backed by Aframe Clothing Company, V12 Radgear, Lakat, Mullato, Ripstuff Outdoor, Ridge Surfs and Mountains, Loaded Philippines, A Boys Production and Monster Radio BT 105.5. (EKA)
