PAL cuts fuel surcharge on int’l, domestic flights as oil prices drop

PHILIPPINE Airlines (PAL) is again reducing its fuel surcharge on selected domestic and international flights effective Jan. 1, 2009, to reflect the decline in oil prices in world markets.

The reduction will be up to $45 on some international flights and up to P100 for most domestic sectors. PAL will also reduce by P1 per kilo the fuel surcharge imposed on domestic cargo.

For PAL flights originating from the Philippines to international points, the surcharge will be lowered by as much as $45 per flight.

For PAL domestic and PAL Express flights between Manila and other domestic points, the surcharge will further drop by P100 for most sectors.
PAL will continue to review its fuel surcharge as world oil prices improve. (PR)
