Monday, January 05, 2009 Promise in the new AboitizLand logo
ABOITIZLAND, Inc. introduces today a more distinct brand identity. This is the first time that AboitizLand re-engineers its logo in over 10 years of existence.
Noreen Vicencio, manager for branding, says the company “saw the need to refresh its symbols to better convey who it really is to itself and to its partners.”
The new brand identity integrates the new symbol to the full company name “AboitizLand” sported in a new logotype.
Vicencio says the symbol dubbed as ‘Community Life,’ “represents our passion for ‘nurturing communities’ through the relationships we build between people, buildings and nature.”
Vicencio explained that AboitizLand “seeks not only to build, but to nurture – never losing sight of the ultimate reason for our existence – enduring villages that foster long-term relationships.”
“We have defined for ourselves what the company stands for, what each of us in the AboitizLand team means to contribute to each project, and what this will mean, not to the company, but to our vecinos and our partners.” (Vecinos is the Spanish for neighbors; used by AboitizLand to mean its homeowners.)
The new logo sports basic shapes like squares, leaf-shapes, and circles symbolizing buildings and hard infrastructure, nature and people, respectively in a balanced square design set beside the AboitizLand name.
It will now be used for all corporate materials and communications coming from AboitizLand.
