10th Sinulog Export Overruns and Consumer Bazaar opens today

THE annual Sinulog Export Overruns and Consumer Bazaar, now on its 10th year, opens today at the Cebu Trade Hall, third floor of SM City Cebu.

This yearly event gathers some of the best indigenous finds from all over the country, including footwear from Liliw, Laguna; knitwear and silver fashion accessories from Baguio; bags, hampers, wine bags, gift packaging materials made of local fibers from Bicol; lamps from Iloilo; hand embroidered local fabric from Lumban; hand-woven home furnishings from Marinduque and batik from Zamboanga.

With such exciting merchandise mix every year, the bazaar has become one of Sinulog’s must-see attractions, constantly drawing a growing number of Sinulog crowd who flock to Cebu both to experience the country’s biggest mardi gras and all-out festive shopping.

”We are committed to bringing to Cebu every Sinulog the best of the regions, not only to promote Filipino products, but to add a different character and shopping experience to the Sinulog festivity as well,” said L.A. Ducut and Company, Inc. managing director Lilibeth D. Abais.

This year, the bazaar highlights interesting imported and export overruns from garments to fashion accessories like Queen Bee International’s export quality brass key chains, export overruns garments from outside Cebu, Vedasto Leathercrafts, Pan Arts Corp. export quality fashion accessories, L’Cherie Fashion’s bling-bling, Hershey’s Collection fashion accessories and Murano glass items like bracelets and necklaces.

There’s also a hodge-podge of other interesting finds in the bazaar like G.O. Engineering smokeless charcoal stoves, guitars from Cebu, regional delicacies, shell crafts and other gift and novelty items.

Bazaar shoppers are further provided of the convenience of credit card shopping as all major credit cards are accepted.

The 10th Sinulog Export Overruns and Consumer Bazaar will run until Jan. 19.
