2 men sued for marijuana
TWO men were sued for violating RA 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Drugs Act of 2002, at the Municipal Trial Court in Asuncion, Davao del Norte, two days after they were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Camoning, Asuncion.
The suspects were identified as Deno Abag, 30, single, farmer, and a resident of So. Tagasan, Brgy Gupitan, Kapalong, and Jason Sobla, 21, married, a resident of Purok 5, Brgy. Camansa, Asuncion.
They were arrested at around 10 a.m. by PNP Trackers Team of Asuncion Municipal Station led by Sr. Insp. Edgar Arrizza.
Police confiscated the P1,000-marked money and a kilo of dried marijuana leaves. The suspects are now detained at the Asuncion Police Station.(AAG)
