18 teams in PSC inter-high school

EIGHTEEN teams have registered for the PSC 2003 Inter-High School Chess Team Championship elimination round on March 1 and 2 at the Davao Central High School gymnasium.

The top teams will earn tickets to the finals slated March 16 at the same venue.

Early favorites are the F. Bangoy National High School boys and girls teams powered by siblings Adrian and Marie Angeli Dimakiling along with Davao City National High School led by Brene Parre¤o and University of
Mindanao bannered by Lordjon Limbohan.

Others entered are Panabo National High School, Comprehensive High
School-Mintal, Assumption School of Davao, Sta. Ana National High
School, DCISS-Sped Integrated Special School, Davao Central High School, F. Bustamante High School, Juan dela Cruz National High School, Holy Child School of Davao, Colegio de San Ignacio, Southpoint National High School, University of Southern Mindanao, Rizal Memorial Colleges and Immaculate Conception College-High School.

Prizes and NCFP ratings are at stake in the Swiss System tournament
sponsored by the Philippine Sports Commission. MLS
