Lorenzo tops 'Araw' Dama
Juncel Lorenzo of Bolton Isla beat 27 other competitors to bag the 1st Araw ng Dabaw Dama Tournament at Osmeņa Park Sunday.
Lorenzo topped the competition with 35 points, just a point ahead of second placer Jessie Sangyaan of Sampaguita, Buhangin. Nomeriano Salamida of Marfori II finished with 33 points to place third.
For his win, Lorenzo took home the top prize of P1, 000 plus a medal. Sangyaan and Salamida settled for P700 and P500 respectively.
The tournament was organized by the Davao City Dama Association Incorporation (DCDAI) and backed by the Davao City Sports Development Office. LMG
