3 drug suspects fall
THREE people suspected to be involved in illegal drug trafficking were arrested by the police following a search operation at a residence in Purok 10, Barangay Ising, Carmen, Davao del Norte, Friday dawn.
Arrested were Richard Tabura, of the same address, Nilo Antipuesto, 22, and his cousin Robert, 19, of Digos City.
On the strength of the search warrants issued by Judge Jesus Grajeda of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 4, Panabo City, a joint team of the Davao del Norte police led by Supt. Wilbert Blarin and Carmen police led by Sr. Insp. Calvin Barcena raided the house of Tabura at 4:30 a.m.
Confiscated in Tabura's house were a caliber .38 revolver, bearing serial number 162001, an airgun with oxygen tank, 11 empty sachets suspected to have been filled with shabu, and shabu paraphernalia.
Appropriate charges have been readied against Tabura while police are still interrogating the Antipuesto cousins to justify their presence in Tabura's residence during the raid. AAG
