Argument leads to stabbing
A LABORER landed in the hospital after another laborer stabbed him during a heated argument in a drinking session at the Metro Circle on Magallanes St., Davao City, 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
Recuperating at the Davao Medical Center from two stab wounds in the body is Rodel Rojales, 26, of Matina.
Rojales identified his attacker as Marcial Gonzales, 29, of Bankerohan.
San Pedro police station investigators said the argument between Rojales and Gonzales, both of whom were already intoxicated, became so heated that Gonzales got irked and stabbed Rojales with an 18-inch long knife.
Gonzales fled from the scene of the crime but was collared at his residence by barangay police Edgar Sanchez.
SPO4 Job Tablizo of the San Pedro police precinct prepared the charges to be filed against Gonzales who is detained at the station. AAG
