Embalmer found dead

IT was his time to be embalmed. A young embalmer was found dead on the cold pavement of a gasoline station just in front of the funeral parlor he worked for along De Guzman St. in Toril, Davao City.

Toril police identified the deceased as one Rexmon Alad, 22, of Sitio Banod Bato.

Police had gone to the Shell station in front of Angel Funeral Homes after being informed by phone about the lifeless body of Alad at 10:45 Friday night.

Police rushed the victim to the St. John Hospital but attending physicians declared him dead on arrival.

Homicide probers found no signs of violence on the body of Alad, making them rule out foul play as the cause of death.

The victim's remains are now awaiting autopsy at the funeral parlor he had worked for. RCO
