Photographer hacks wife's rumored lover

A PHOTOGRAPHER landed in jail after hacking another man, rumored to be engaged in a liaison with his wife, during graduation ceremonies in a public school in Davao City Friday afternoon.

Arrested and detained at the Tugbok Police Precinct is one Danilo Yahag, 49, married, of Tagakpan, Tugbok.

Yahag is accused of hacking one Israel Echavez, 50, married, a resident of Green Meadows Subdivision at Barangay Sto. Niņo in Mintal at 1:30 p.m. Friday during the graduation ceremonies of Mintal Elementary School in Tugbok.

Echavez, who is now recuperating at the Davao Medical Center, sustained hack wounds in the stomach, left arm, chest and left elbow.

Echavez was hacked soon after Yahag saw him attending the graduation program.

PO3 Florencio Penanueva, who was also there to attend his child's graduation, arrested Yahag. A bolo was seized from Yahag's possession. RCO
